Did You Get Your Free Pancakes from IHOP Today?

 

That's right, it's National Pancake Day and IHOP is celebrating by offering free stacks of pancakes today from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.  It's all in the name of charity as IHOP is hoping donations from this free pancake day will raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. 

Not a bad deal at all, free pancakes for a couple bucks toward a good cause.  IHOP has been doing this tradition for 8 years now and with locations all over the place, and it seems like you're never too far from one.  So don't forget, get to your local IHOP for free pancakes throughout the day today (2/5/13.)

The Bar Refaeli Go Daddy Commercial is Even Steamier in Uncensored Version!

Jaws dropped during the Super Bowl commercial fest when Go Daddy aired their traditionally controversial ad.  This year featured mega hot supermodel Bar Refaeli in what can only be described as a make out session with your common everyday computer nerd.  I don't know if it was the fact it was a computer nerd or the fact that we were getting an up close view of this lip lock complete with smacking sounds that made this commercial so controversial, but now Go Daddy has released the UNCENSORED version of this commercial, and all we can say is it was obviously too much tongue for TV!

In THIS version there is some major tongue action going on, which is obviously the reason it wasn't the version that aired on network TV. Some props must be given to Ms. Refaeli for getting down and dirty with...the underdog so to speak.  So if you haven't seen "Walter" get enough action from Bar Refaeli, he gets plenty more here:

 

Video: Destiny's Child Reunites at the Super Bowl Halftime Show

Well the Super Bowl has come and gone, but the buzz and talk about it might be at an even higher level than it was prior to the game.  I don't consider myself a football super fan, but you almost have to watch the "big game" whether it's for the game itself, the slew of brand new commercials, or the huge halftime show.

This year the halftime show was handled by Beyonce, who judging by reports was rehearsing all week for her mega-performance.  Of course there were rumors of some sort of Destiny's Child involvement since Super Bowl performances usually go all out, but the rumors were denied throughout the week.  Beyonce had a crazy stage of course (that we're still surprised they can get on the field in the short amount of time they do) and when the time was right, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyonce on stage for the big Destiny's Child reunion.  They showed without a doubt that they are still the powerhouse girl group they were over 10 years ago, and was cool to see since we know Beyonce really could be a star on her own without any reunions if she wanted to.

Songs from my childhood that were NAUGHTY!

Back in the 90s I was a harmless free spirit kid. A boy. Innocent. Turned into a teenager in the 90s. And during those times, I listened to a ton of music. All types of music. And I never really listened closely to the lyrics, I just liked the music. And now as an adult, I revisit these songs. And actually listen to them, and realize that I was being taught some pretty naughty things by my musician elders. So here is a list of songs that at the time I had no idea what they mean, just they had a good beat and I liked to listen to it, but when listened to closer, they were singing about OTHER things that were not so kid friendly....

Sylk-E Fyne feat. Chill - Romeo & Juliet
Wowza, as a kid, I thought Sylk-E Fyne was just singing about how he was going to take his girl out for a good time. As an adult I realize..... well he was gonna take her out for a good time alright.



Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 
Yeah. No idea what was being sung about. Just thought hey, the Spice Girls are singing about how much they're in love with someone. And the two of their souls will become one because they are so in love. Not realizing they were actually singing about SAFE SEX! 



Guns N Roses - Mr. Brownstone 
No clue. Just thought some guy kept bugging Axl so he sang about it. 



Alanis Morissette  - You Oughta Know 
Like everyone else on the planet in the 90s, I had this CD. But it wasn't until much later on did I catch what exactly she might have done to Uncle Joey in a movie theater.

Thought they were just singing about dancing. No idea they were wanting me to shake something.

Didn't really have any clue what this song was about as a kid.
