HBO forms a tag team with Amazon!

Starting May 21st, anyone and everyone with Amazing Prime will be able to instantly stream a ton of HBO content on Amazon Instant Video. he Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Big Love, Deadwood, Eastbound & Down, Family Tree, Enlightened, Treme, and more will be available. Unlike HBO GO though, current seasons will not be available, but past seasons of shows like True Blood will be. Which I'm sure after a period of time most recent seasons will be added after they have ended.

What does this mean for Netflix? Nothing really. Netflix pretty much DGAF on this whole thing as they are pretty much crushing it on their own with shows like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. And this partnership is kind of weird but makes sense for the cord cutting crowd out there. Wherever Amazon is available to stream, HBO GO is as well. And HBO has said in the past that they are perfectly fine with people sharing usernames and passwords (thanks Mom!). But for people without HBO, and who are not fortunate enough to know someone with HBO this is a huge win. Because seriously everyone needs to be watching Game of Thrones.
